Dr K Maharaj

Dr Maharaj is a General Family Practitioner who is based at the recently opened Connor-Med Health Centre in Port Shepstone.  Dr Maharaj also consults from the Shelly Beach Hospital.

With years of experience and expertise, Dr Maharaj offers various services apart from just medical consultations. He also performs certain minor surgical procedures, medical and health screening for different conditions, the administration of intravenous infusions and injections, family planning, dispensing of acute and chronic medication, immunization, among others.

The in-house Dispensary is managed by a pharmacist who also oversees the Diet & Weight-loss Clinic which offers individually-made programs/options for weight loss management and skin rejuvenation therapy.

Connor-Med also boasts the service of a Dental Therapist to ‘put a smile back on your face’ for all your teething problems.

A visiting audiologist is also ‘hear’ for you at Connor-Med Centre. She consults twice a week by appointment.

A Beauty and Massage Therapist is also available with various services and packages on offer.

You can enjoy some coffee and refreshments at The Coffee Connor which is located within the practice. A small, light menu and beverages are available here.

Consulting hours for Dr Maharaj are as follows : Monday to Friday 8am until 7pm, Saturday 8.30am until 12pm & Sunday 4pm until 6pm

We welcome appointments and also accommodate walk-in patients. Contracted to most medical aids. Centrally located, easily accessible with secure parking.
